For over thirty years, Henry De La Paz has been perfecting his craftsmanship in hairdressing, makeup and fashion design. He has become an undisputed force in styling. His love of hairstyling, editorial, and red carpet events has led him from San Antonio to Los Angeles, Paris, London, India and New York, where he resides.
Henry has won numerous hairdressing awards and has an undeniable passion for styling all types of hair; his work has been published in magazines worldwide. Mentored by Didier Malige, Charlie Taylor, Denis Holbecq (ambassdor hairdresser, Jean-Francios Guillon), Bruno and Anthony Mascolo (Tigi), Mario Tricocci, Adier Abergel, John D, Jamal Hammadi, Sarah Potempa (Beachwaver), Edward Tricomi where he is Ambassador and Trainer for Warren Tricomi and Milbon USA. With training and education from Toni & Guy, Prive, Mario Tricoci, Henry De La Paz was recognized as the youngest educator for Elizabeth Arden Red Door at 21.
Henry continues to take care of his clientele in his hometown, San Antonio, Texas and globally. Henry is one of today’s high demand weddings, special events and fashion show hairstylists, which lead him to be the founder of De La Paz Collective. Since then he formed teams to work on creative projects for Cynthia Rowley, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, Berta, Ghalia Lahav, Ronny Kobo, Neiman Marcus, Oscar de la Renta, John Hardy, Shiseido, Shu Uemura, the AIDS foundation, and American Express. Henry recently launched his hair accessory line, Zaley & Ali.
